I bought both these and the stage 2 cubes. I'm still using both even though my daughter is feeding very well. Some people say not to bother with these as they only use them for 2 weeks. I have been using them for nearly 2 months now.
My daughter loves to have 2 or more types of food together and this is the ideal way of doing it as it gives just the right amount when you add a cube of each food (for instance butternut squash, pear and rice).
I don't put them in the dishwasher as once I've used them I wash them by hand after I've finished washing her bottles, so can't comment on that aspect. I would say that they are brilliant and I would recommend them to anyone. Will definitely be using them for my 2nd if I have one.

Bought these to store expressed breast milk as our little one sometimes wants a little more than we've put in the bottle and we wanted a way to store the milk in small quantities so that we could give him a little more without wasting milk - 1oz is ideal. These are great, you can sterilise the whole tub by simply dropping it in milton and the lids keep the milk sterile once you've filled them. I've had no problems with the lids coming open at any time, there is a max fill line on the tub and as long as you don't exceed that then even when the milk expands on freezing the tub stays closed. Brilliant.

I brought these when we first started weaning our little one. They are handy small pots, but they are rather small and so after a few days we had to start using two at a time. Now she uses 3 at a time. Also the lids don't always clip in very well and so they are forever opening in the freezer and fridges. I would recommend skipping the stage 1 and going straight into buying the stage 2 pots.

These pots are not worth it, having used them once I now cannot close the lid shut as the plastic is not of could quality they are not freezer friendly or dishwasher friendly...I have realised that if you use an ice cube tray that each cube is the equivalent quantity to the stage 1 pots and you can easily transfer the puree into freezer bags.

These pots are not very good. Once they have been in the freezer the lids pop open and u can't close them

Some of the cubes from my pack don't close and therefore can't provide an airtight seal for the puree. After using them a few times and placing pureed food in the freezer, the cubes have cracked and cannot be used further. I have bought some other rubber cube trays, which I have used repeatedly for purees and work well. This product was a waste of money & big disappointment. I will not be using them anymore.

These food pots are a reasonable idea, but are made from low-grade plastic which is too brittle for long term use.

I guess you aren't supposed to use them for too long, since you are meant to move on to Stage 2, but it would be far simpler to buy some larger tupperware-style pots (100ml for instance), as they will last for years and allow you to gradually increase the portion sizes.

This is very much a throwaway product - the pots crack and split over time due to the rigours of freezing and heating.

They are practical, and they do serve a purpose, and they are cheap, but if you prefer to buy things that last, and have multiple uses over the years, get some more rugged pots.

    Two stars.

I am very happy with this item and will probably purchase another set. My baby is almost 7 months old now and eating alot. I had used ice cube trays before getting these but the portion of 1 cube just wasn't enough so I was using 3 or 4 cubes for one meal!! (yes he is very hungry!!) I bought this item with the Anna Karmel 100 first purees recipe book and I love both!
