I am sure we have all had a preconceived idea of what her comeback single would sound like and I don't think anyone was wrong. Happy is a very nice song with brilliant vocals as always from Leona, but it lacks the magic which her previous big ballads had which made them so massive. I am a bit dissapointed that this was the first single since the previews of the album have shown there is some incredible material on there which would have been far better single material but I am guessing her label felt sticking with the Tedder track was the safe option.
The B-side to this is amazing by the way (personally, I feel that it should have been the single)and that would be my main reason for buying this. Basically this is a must have for all big Leona fans, but for the casual music listener I would recommend listening to both tracks and making a decision from that.
