Let's face it: any book that contains a glove puppet, known for his excitability and ability to bite your face off (nicely, of course!) is going to be a winner! My 3 year-old Godson loves all the Boris books and was so pleased with this at Christmas. The books are robust enough to cope with Boris's face-biting impulses and the vocabulary is simple and easy for the children to follow. It's a great, fun book that should be added to the gift list of any Aunt/Uncle/Grandparent or anyone else who has the option of bestowing gifts and then running away as carnage ensues.

My daugther loved me reading this to her, and giggled lots when Boris had to kiss her. The only reason for not getting 5 stars was the hole in the book is a little tight from my big hands.

My 2 year old twins love this whole series of puppet books. We haven't actually read any of them yet - they just squeal with laughter when Boris chases them around the house trying to give them kisses!

I bought this book for my nearly 3 year old goddaughter for Christmas and she (and her 14 month old baby brother) adore it. They absolutely love putting their hands in Boris's mouth as you read the story, and he is very naughty and often bites them! To be honest I'm not sure the story really matters they just love the puppet :-)
