There are books out there that one reads and forgets and then there are books like Menna's books that upon reading leave you with a warm feeling that when you look back, you never forget. Her books are magical and are food for the soul! Men, Money & Chocolate and Happier than she's ever been have both touched me deeply, I read each book in one go, both stories are gripping, you just need to know what's going to happen next! I felt I was on the journey with Maya together when reading "Happier than she's ever been" and experienced her ups and downs with her. It's so real, so honest, so refreshing, her feelings-frustrations-emotions are so transparent and her journey filled with lots of learning. Thanks for sharing them so we can learn with you! In Happier than she's ever been Maya is learning how to juggle both her book success and her relationship and in the end she realizes she can have it all. It's simply sweet and magical and....so glad it has a happy ending! :-) Happier than she's ever been is the sequel of Men, Money & Chocolate, so make sure you read both! Men, Money and Chocolate was the best until Happier than she's ever been came along! Both books have the "good feel factor" and leave you with that "mmmhhhh" feeling - warm and fuzzy!

This is a gorgeous book. I read it from beginning to end in one go (always a good sign) and it made me feel so good. All warm and fuzzy inside. It's also inspiring and uplifting. The main character is so adorable you just fall in love with her and root for a happy ending even when she's doing self-sabotaging things (don't we all do that sometimes?) not to spoil the end but I closed this book with a BIG smile on my face!

I really enjoyed Men, Money & Chocolate and the sequel didn't disappoint! It takes off where the other story left off and now the heroine Maya is in a long term relationship and becoming a successful author. She experiences lots of bumps & twists & turns along the way but ultimately everything works out for the best. A really heart-warming read! Highly recommended!

Happier than she's ever been
Readable but not as good as her first book. More of the same really which gets tedious. Possible good for younger people, I am 63.
