Congratulations should go to Ms Moeng for her clear, informative and engaging account of the history and workings of the Stock Exchange. Being a financial journalist myself I was surprised to find information in 'What Happens in the Stock Exchange' that I was not even aware of. Furthermore, the use of pictures to augment the text was carefully thought out, striking a balance between visual representations of the past and present of equities trading from 18th Century coffee shops to electronic trading systems. Invaluable as a teaching aid or a companion for more adult readers interested in the City I am sure that this will be a valuable addition to school and business libraries.
