This film is terrific! I was enthralled by the fight choreography and was left aching from all the action on display.
From the early seventies, this film is very much a cash in on the success of Bruce Lee's "Fist of Fury", in that the bad guys are Japanese and one scene in particular is near identical to that of Bruce Lee's movie. Another connection with Lee, is that the lead actress Angela Mao is perhaps most famous for playing his ill-fated sister in "Enter The Dragon". Here she is given presidence and really shows her excellent timing and amazing martial arts agility. In this film we also get to see another performer Wang In Sik as a good guy, chiefly he is more famous for his bad guy roles in Bruce Lee's "Way Of The Dragon" and a couple of Jackie Chan movies "Young Master" and "Dragon Lord". Here we get to see Wang desimate a room full of Japanese fighters with ease! Lets not forget of course an early performance by Sammo Hung who would go on to become one of the greatest forces in Hong Kong cinema. I cannot recomend this film highly enough, but please don't expect to see much of Jackie Chan, his role is microscopic; blink and you'll miss him!
