my 6 month old loves this! 18 Oct 2012

We had given our baby a wooden rattle when she was about 3 months old. She would hold it and chew on it and shake it. Based on that experience, we figured that she would enjoy something more advanced when her grip was a bit better. We gave her these maracas when she was about six months old. She LOVES them. She gets so excited when we take them out and shake them before handing them to her (usually one at a time for now). She does chew them at times so I hope the plastic covers are sturdy enough, but mostly she shakes and boogies to the noise they make. A great toy for a little girl that seems to love making her own music.

NICE SOUND 3 Sep 2013

Easy for baby to hold and chew on. They make a nice sound, not too loud. They're lightweight and won't hurt if dropped. Easy to tie on stroller or car seat.
