So good to see this concert finally released on dvd. Having owned the vhs version this dvd is a huge improvement. Its great to see hank playing in the note perfect style that only he can. The collection of songs are varied and should cater for most music lovers ranging from the beautifully phrased sleepwalk to the solid uptempo version of live and let die. The only disapointment was the decision not to include a track called redback which was a fantastic guitar dual between hank and his son Ben - perhaps this was a little "wild" to be included on this dvd. Nevertheless - a great dvd!

We went to the Portsmouth concert on this UK tour and wanted to get a DVD/Video as a reminder of a great evening.
Hank and his band go through most of the well known stuff and cant be faulted for the guitar playing and sound quality, the songs are all here 'Move it- Apache - Wonderful Land - Foot tapper - and loads more - the only thing I would dare moan about as a general critisism about a 'Hank' gig is that he is not a talker, he just gets up on stage and runs through the set list, and only says a couple of things now and again, still Hank lets his guitar do the talking - We have seen Hank in concert a few times now and this is typical of one of his gigs - get on stage play the set list and thankyou, although he will meet people after gigs for publicity etc.
Still it is a great DVD and reminder of a real LEGEND on the guitar - order it today from amazon.

i brought this for my dad on fathers day and i love it, i have the version which features 'Red back' which is cool, the only bad thing about this DVD is that Cliff Richard is featured on this and i don't see why has to appeare on this dvd because if it wasn't for hanks amazing guitar sound he wouldn't be where he is so its an insult to hank who's done more for music then cliff will ever do, but anyways if you like hank marvin then buy it to get into a state of warmth and enjoy music from the first true british guitar hero.
