Dermatologists have only a few drugs "of their own" and so borrow agents like Thalidomide, Dapsone, antimalarials, anti-rejection drugs, cancer meds., hormones and immunosupressives from other disciplines. (didn't mean to be rude).
No surprise then that these therapies can be a bit daunting for dermatology trainees.
The BNF is a bit lacking in "off licence" medications and this little book neatly fills a gap in dermatology therapeutics. An edition in combination with topical treatments would make this a must be for juniors and consultants alike. As it is, it should have a place in every departments library, sprs pocket.
