4.0 out of 5 stars EST's for SMI, 3 Dec 2007
By Chris Michael "Ph.D." - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Handbook of Psychological Treatments for Severe Mental Disorders (Hardcover)
I have this one sitting right next to Barlow's volume for less severe disorders. It is an apt counterpart to the Barlow. EST's don't solve everything, definitely not, but if you are needing a guidebook overview of EST's for severe mental illness to satisfy managed care boards, institutional requirements, and/or your own desire to base your interventions on material that has some empirical basis, this is the one.
