Format: Hardcover
This Handbook presents a comprehensive reading of Project Management. With methodic organization, Turner maps out the different phases and perspectives of the PM cycle.

With a practical approach, it serves as a follow-through (from beginning to the end) reading or a consulting encyclopedia for the reader to address very focused themes/questions.

It arrived within a few days of ordering well packaged and in pristine condition for a used book. I think the previous owner must only have skimmed through it once.

The book is a must have for any project manager and is full of information and is well set out and written.

A very useful reference. 18 Feb. 2003
By Bill Godfrey - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover
Described as 'an encyclopaedia for the profession of project management', this 830 page reference manual has 45 chapters in seven parts covering every aspect of management with which a project manager may be concerned. Each chapter covers an issue (health and safety, ethics, contract law, information systems) in considerable depth, with an excellent listing of references at the end of each chapter to more detailed texts and to linked sections of the Handbook. It is written for the professional and the formal student of project management rather than for the generalist who happens to become engaged in a project.
