This is a must have for all midwifery students and for any aspiring midwifery researchers. It is easy to read and saves wading through a few text books, that are not as easy to read. I read this in a couple of days and had a much better understanding of research terms and the research process. I wish it had been around when I was doing my midwifery training. The authors do a really good job of inspiring the reader to get involved in research.

I absolutely love this handbook! It's clear, concise, informative and very user-friendly. It's specifically useful for Midwives and Student Midwives. The content is excellent. It provides very good research related examples and case studies, to aid application to Midwifery practice, which makes it easier to relate to and understand. It's easy to locate the required information, and the tables, figures and illustrations are clear and effective to use. The high quality chapters flow well, with good summaries at the end. This book is instantly likeable and by far out ways its competitors. It's reasonably priced, easy to carry around, and I highly recommend!
