A truly amazing book. I have yet to find anyone of any sign that has not been slack jawed at the accuracy. The most commonly used phrase by our friends is 'It's as if she knows me personally". She really knows her stuff and frankly I have not yet found any other author who comes close .
Brilliant.

This book was recommended by a friend, who had the ~1980 version. I admit, I was a bit reluctant at first but since having bought the book the day it came out in '01, not a week has gone by without me having looked at it. It's absolutely accurate and gives you insights you mightn't have thought possible. Unlike some writers, the author doesn't come down hard with any negative aspects but words them as positively as possible. If there had to be a criticism, I'd mention that most signs are addressed in their male form, so talking about the ox and that 'he knows how to bide his time' may makes some 'females' wonder, what 'she' would do ...

However all in all I'd still say that this is certainly the best book on Chinese Astrology there is!

Suprisingly reliable. 21 Aug 2000

Format:Hardcover
While the accuracy of Ms Lau's objections is sure to catch You off-guard, her seemingly effortless and immaginatively refined way with words is sure to catch the eye of a seasoned reader. Ms Lau's cool and comfortable way of presenting her material, combined with the startling exactness the reader is certain to start discovering, makes us definitely rethink the 'Horoscopes' cathegory. The book's main attraction lies in it being oriented more towards the definition of various personalities as seen through the Chinese horoscope than to standardly expected predictions for the future.Partly due to the thousands years of the magnificently wise Chinese culture that merged the rational and the intuitive ages before it became the latest Western fashion, but mostly due to Ms. Lau's own talent, this book is a delight to read and even better as a reference book. You shall run to consult it many times to come - even if You don't 'believe'.
