I have thoroughly enjoyed this book. its Kitsch but fun.

I anticipated that it would be condescending to women but it really isnt it is tounge in cheek and really aimed at the food. the instructions presume an amount of cooking skills but very much tend to be a basic recipe and then a list of variations you could consider.

There are some great ideas for more traditional meat dishes and the manner in which it is written is straight from its time. a feel good read with some handy recipes.
