Very useful specialist text, american in style but loads of great detail that you can supplement with a larger text

I really love the Secrets series. They have got me through numerous exams. This is a welcome update on the previous edition. I think it is a lot easier to read and also more relevant. Of course, it is just a brief guide, but will get you covered in the Clinic and on rounds.

A must for your orthopaedic hand rotation

Provides the answers to commonly asked questions that one wouldencounter on an ortho hand rotation. My friend who is going into ahand fellowship also finds it very useful.

This is not the first book I would recommend if learning to be a hand therapist or studying for the CHT but is it a nice quck read for expanding knowledge.

Good but not the best

Good but not the best. Does have a lot of info, though some of it is wrong and/or incomplete. If you're only going to get one, get "The Purple Book." The format of this book is pretty dense, more like the way MD's present info. The Purple Book is set up in a question/answer format and is more user friendly. I did use Hand Secrets when studying to pass the CHT exam in 2006, and occasionally reference it still. Good x-ray pics.
