Hana's Helpline is a Channel Five TV series about a duck agony aunt (voiced by Arabella Weir of The Fast Show) and her duckling son, who help animals who need emotional support. It's very popular with 4-6 year olds. It deals with the kind of social and emotional issues that real children experience at the age they first start going to school.

You're a Star:
Fergus the firefly is overlooked when Mrs Winger is casting the school nativity play. Fortunately, HANA sees his potential to play the star which leads the wise men to Bethlehem.
Gorilla Crossing:
Gazza the gorilla is scared of everything but with Hana`s help he braves the great outdoors.
Cyril the Squirrel:
Cyril is a squirrel who can never remember where he has put his belongings. Hana helps him find them with a special song.
Disappearing Act:
Myrtle is a little turtle who`s shy and can`t make friends. Hana and the team help Myrtle come out of her shell.
Too Many Hands:
Olivia is a little octopus who feels really clumsy until Hana helps her discover that with her hands she can do six things all at once.
Beware of the Bear:
Bert the bear has no respect for other people`s belongings until HANA shows him the error of his ways.

I love this dvd and so do my two kids. Hana is the comedienne Arabella Wier of the Fast Show.The puppets are are gorgeous and the issues they deal with a are heartwarming without being soppy. This is British creativity at its best. If you are sick of the Disney type kids TV with its relentless cheerfullness and zero intellect, then try this.Infact my kids are glued to it now.Congrats to the makers.Its a triumph.
Hana's Helpline is bright and colourful and the fabric-style puppets make it a bit different. Very entertaining for four-year-olds. The episodes are about ten minutes each so an hours' worth is not bad at the current Amazon price.

I purchased a Scootermatic from Scootermatic at Horley within a month the battery broke down and they wish to charge me for new batteries (some £280) which I think is exorbitant considering I paid 3700. and within a month I have to pay a futher 280. do you consider this is a justifiable charge for a disabled person
