Hamilton used to be the brush most of us wanted to own,not as much now with the American Purdy taking over.
The Hamiltons also lose there laquer on the handles when placed in a Brush Mate,but Brush Mate approved.
The Purdy range are mainly all synthectic but can give a better finish than the Hamilton and you dont have to look out for loose hairs.
Have quite a few boxes of Hamiltons,but gradually replacing with the Purdy Monarch elite range.
