The Hama Sat Nav accessory kit has been a godsend to us on our travels, contain 3 interchangeable plugs that are compatible with US, UK and EU sockets, meaning that we can easily adapt the plug from use at home in the UK to use in Europe in no time at all! What I really liked about the plugs was that they all attach to the same adapter/cable (simply sliding in and out) meaning there is no need to purchase 3 separate bulky plug adapters and get into a pickle with a huge mass of tangles cables in your bag. You only need the one cable, which fits perfectly with your sat nav in the included case to leave plenty of room in your luggage for other essentials. What better excuse for squeezing in that extra pair of shoes!
We often try and take our notebook with us on the go to keep people updated with pictures and stories of our travels via social networking sites, which with the included USB cable (which can be detached from the mains plug) can serve as an emergency sat nav power source on the go! The cable in my opinion is the perfect length for this as there are not reams and reams of unnecessary extra cable which would otherwise entangle everyone in the room or vehicle, but just enough to operate/programme the device quickly and easily when charging.
That leaves me (last but not least) with the case. The shape may remind you of a burger box, but don't let it fool you, it's as tough as an old boot! I've dropped this case several times with the sat nav in it, not counting the endless amount of times it has spent being bashed around in my handbag or in the glove compartment and there is not a mark on it! Fitting a good amount of accessories, I can certainly fit all those included in this kit in there, and the handy inner flap separates the accessory pocket and the screen of the sat nav so it doesn't get all scratched up in transit. A brilliant feature which I have not seen on many other cases.
Overall a brilliant kit for the money. If you are planning on travelling anywhere in Europe or the US with you your sat nav then the decision should already be made - buy it!
