I recently purchased a Samsung 3DTV, bought the TV for the 3D function, which is great, but what I did not realise at the time was that the TV was internet ready, after reading the instructions I found out that I needed to buy a Samsung WiFi stick, but they were so expensive so I gave up on the idea. I then found this product much much cheaper than the Samsung original so I ordered one. As I am not very technical I thought it was going to take me half the day to get it working, but to my surprise it was so easy, I just plugged in the small stick into the USB slot at the back of the TV and entered my WEP key, job done!
I can now search the internet, see what is happening on Facebook, watch films through [] and much much more. I really feel that I am now getting the most out of my TV and all down to this little inexpensive black stick, Amazing!

I needed to buy a wifi connection to link my samsung Internet enabled tv to my bt hub. I read all the reviews about this item and decided to buy it. It was so simple to install, literally plug and play and cheaper than the official samsung dongle. Excellent purchase. I fully recommend.

Just bought a Samsung UE40ES5500 and I can confirm this does not work with the TV.

    Returned for a refund.

Bought this to allow my new Samsung LED TV to connect to my wifi for the SMART functions. Started to read the manual but got bored so thought i would just plug it in and see how i got on- amazing, the tv (D635) asked how I wanted to connect, i selected wifi and it found the device instantly. It then asked for the WEP code (printed on the back of my BT box) which is entered using the navigation (arrow) buttons on the tv remote. The code is case sensitive apparrently but mine was all lower case so no probs. That was it, so simple, updated the TV's software and ran through the smart apps available and in 10 mins i was watching HD programmes from BBC iplayer. I even downloaded an app to my android phone which mimics the operation of the samsung remote on the phone via the wifi connection (SamyGo Remote) and it worked perfectly 1st time, i recomend it for people who can never remember where they left the remote.

Does exactly what it says on the box........much cheaper than genuine Samsung dongle, i plugged it into my Samsung LED tv.....Samsung UE46C6530 46-inch Widescreen Full HD 1080p 100Hz Slim AllShare LED Internet TV with Freeview HD....selected set-up, entered wifi security code and it was done. When i then selected "internet" on the tv it automatically updated and set itself. Works brilliantly, giving excellent quality bbc i player etc.

Ordered this product on the strength of previous reviews and the fact that Amazon offer this for sale as "suitable for Samsung TVs". I presumed it would be a case of plug it in, type in the WiFi router access code then BINGO!!...sadly not that easy in my case.

Product arrived within time and well packaged. When plugged into the Samsung TV (model UE37D5520 purchased mid Sept 2011), TV recognised it and found our Sky router. Typed in Sky router access code and it wouldn't connect, tried again and again but wouldn't entertain. Tried product on my laptop, typed in Sky router access code and it connected immediately with no problems..very strange!!. Then tried it on the telly again but wouldn't connect.

Decided to try it with a Belkin WiFi router that I used before I got the Sky router, and the TV connected to this immediately, problem then was the Belkin router wasn't connected to the internet. Had a look in the Belkin router manual and found how to set it up as a Wireless Access Point. Did this and connected the Belkin router to the Sky router with a Cat5 cable, THEN....Yes!! I eventually got the TV to connect to the internet.

I rated this product 4 stars because it does work well, but I think Amazon need to be careful marketing it specifically as suitable for Samsung TVs. Some setups may work straight away and others may have the same type of problems I had. I'd be interested in any helpful comments from anyone succesfully using this product directly with a Samsung TV UE37D5520 and Sky broadband router.

Thank You, I hope you find this review useful.

Purchased to use with Samsung UE40D5520 led 'smart tv'. Plug and play, works straight out of the box with no hassle at all. Tv in same room as router but even so, smooth streaming of video content for youtube, lovefilm, i-player etc. Would not hesitate to recommend as it is well worth the money compared to inflated prices of samsung branded equivalent.
