All interchangeable picture frames from Hama are made without the use of glass. There are many disadvantages that can become present when glass is used in a projection slide, for example, extra weight, a build up of bacteria and Newton’s rings which is the interference pattern caused by the reflection of light between two surfaces.
The mounted slides can be taken out of the frame without being damaged. Therefore the frames can be reused several times and with 50 pieces in the set from Hama you can keep up to date slides mounted properly.
Slides are unlike pictures; pictures can be printed off and viewed as they are whereas slides need to be mounted to be of any use. This may seem like more hassle but when you get to see the picture projected on a big screen it will seem like a small price to pay and with Hama the process of mounting your slides becomes incredibly easy.
Slide mounting not only makes viewing your slides much easier but also makes storing your slides on a more permanent basis more efficient and safer.
