Used it for snorkeling and it was great... my camera is still dry... the only thing is that you need to be careful when taking pictures that the camera is centered (if not, a black boundary may be visible)
After taking (great) photos underwater with this case, my camera is broken. I think this is maybe because the zoom lens came up against the lens adapter many times as I was turning on the camera, and now the lens doesn't came out at all. The camera fits in quite loosely, so it should have some kind of mechanism to stick the camera to the case, so the opening of the lens fits up exactly to the case's lens adapter.

Bought this for our Canon IXUS 70. Husband loves snorkelling and wanted a cheap way to photograph the fish and coral. This is it! Arrived well packaged and was tested in the sink prior to travelling. Worked a treat. Picture quality quite good to say it's basically just a plastic bag. Even if you don't want to take underwater pictures this is still useful to keep small compact cameras safe and dry - say on a boat trip. It has a lanyard attached so you can hang it round your neck too.
All in all well worth the money and will be tested better when we go snorkelling in Egypt later in the year.

Waist of time and money!
Dont waist your money on this! It claims it fits most point and shoot cameras, yet one of the most common of these cameras, the Nikon Coolpix S8000 will NOT fit into it. Read more

Well worth the money!
