The bracket can be mounted onto any tripod with a A1/4 socket so you needn’t worry about having to buy any new equipment to suit your bracket. The bracket can be opened up to 90º and has a sturdy hand strap to allow you to steady the camera in order to achieve a higher-quality image with less risk of disturbance through shaking and movement.
There is also an accessory shoe mount for the attachment of lights or microphones so you can get everything you want and more out of your shot, giving you professional photos at amateur prices. The bracket lets you play around with light, by having your flashgun off the centre line of the lens you can effectively reduce the affect of red-eye in your photos.

Amazon Verified Purchase
I wanted to use my Sony flashgun on a bracket to avoid the flat lighting given by mounting it on the same axis as the lens (the usual reason). Unfortunately, the standard shoe mounting on it is not compatible with Sony flashguns, so I also ordered an "iShoot" adapter (see separate review) to go with it, in the hope that it would solve the difficulty.
It did, and the two work very well together so far.
The shoe was a little bit of a tight fit on the adapter, but that's better than being loose, and a slight tweak did the business. The bracket as a whole I found excellent value for money, and whilst not quite up to the standard one expects from the big names, it does the job very well and conveniently slips easily into a spare corner of the camera bag.
A very good buy at the price.

Simple, lightweight, inexpensive bracket that allows for off camera flash, which folds and unfolds easily. Seems sronge enough for occassional and lightweight use, but those with heavy camera/lens combinations may wish to go for something more robust (and expensive) if planning to use the grip as a carrying handle between shots. Hinge that joins camera plate to handle seems to be strong enough for moderate use, but if I was going to use a bracket more often I'd probably go for something with an all metal, or more substantial, hinge. However, considering the price, I'd rate it as good value for money and it does what it is supposed to.

This product may be inexpensive compared to other camera brackets that cost's way to much, but it does the job that it was intended for. I bought two one to keep and the other for a friend. you cant go wrong for this price.

Extremely light 100% plastic vertical grip + wrist-strap

Useful & Good value
Great value. Arrived quickly.

Just what I was looking for...
This folding angle bracket fits my Nikon D80 very well and allows me to use a flashgun off the centre line of the lens - thereby avoiding redeye problems. Splendid!

Flimsy - not worth it
This is a flimsy bit of kit mainly due to its 'foldaway' ability. The pivot never really give the stability you'd want.

Hama 90 folding bracket
Bought this to help reduce camera movement, not as a flash bracket. Unit is well made, sturdy and doesn't wobble when in use. Usual good service from Amazon. Recommended.
