This is a standard mini jack to jack adapter. There is nothing special about it and you can buy the same thing for £0.95 if you look further down the results page. The other review is probably from the seller. EnjoyGold 6.3mm 1/4" Headphone Adapter

Adapts from large to small jack fine, although I can always hear some static noise in the headphones which goes away after fiddling with the adapter a little. I then used a pair of headphones which come with a large jack, and there was no noise there, therefore the noise heard when using the smaller headphones (where this adapter is needed) is due to the adapter and not to the rest of the circuit.

BAD PRODUCT

Not too amazing
The connector isn't really of any standard quality, and often it induces noise. I used it for an emergency gig and almost ended up embarrassing myself.
