Product Description
Showcasing the new metallic range of hama beads, this is an excellent new line for the slightly more grown up and fashion conscious girl. Contains 2440 midi beads in assorted colours including 3 colours of metallic, 60 flower beads (which are, i think, the nicest shaped beads i have ever seen), elastic, instructions, designs and ironing paper. Also contains butterfly heart and hexagon pegboards.

I bought this recently for my niece who is six. Hama beads are the little beads that allow you to create patterns on a board and then, after a quick whizz over it with an iron, they can be removed from the board and enjoyed. I am a recent convert to hama beads after seeing how much fun my son had creating patterns with them at school, and so I thought that this would be a lovely present for a little girl that loves jewellery in general.
When the set arrived I was very impressed by the lovely shapes and colours of the beads - definitely a good start! The set is a good size, looks lovely and should have enough beads for quite a few pieces of jewellery art. My niece was absolutely thrilled with it and has already created a few masterpieces! She had some help from grandma originally, but now that she's gained confidence the sky is the limit! It's a lovely activity to do together and this will allow little girls to make their own creations that they can be really proud of, and that will have their friends green with envy!

My 3 year old and 5 year old absolutely love Hama beads and when I saw this set I knew it would be a massive hit. It doesn't take them to long to do the peg boards so they dont get bored and once ironed they can have the results straight away rather than having to wait for an hour like aqua beads. We make things to go on cards, hang on windows and of course stuff they can wear. Really impressed.

If you want to keep a child entertained for a while, this toy does the job. Requires some skills, my 5 year old can master any pattern. I wouldn't recommend it for kids younger and 4.
