This toy was actually bought for my niece and I didn't ever find out what she thought! But my daughter loves them - as long as you can put up with the bits everywhere, it is a good crafty hour of fun.

Bought this for my 12 year old who loves Hama. I had expected the boards to be the doll shape but they are just larger plain boards. Previously we have bought various animal shapes. Daughter finds it too fiddly to try and make a doll outline and then "dress" it. However she does like the larger sized board and can make several small pieces on the one board. I bought this with the glitter Hama beads (to make the fancy dresses) but only some of the beads are glittery.

I bought this for my 6-year old (plus 3 months) for Christmas. She is just the right age to sort colors and to count out the patterns. We spent a couple of afternoons engrossed in the project, great playtime together. I appreciate that this is a constructive toy that girls can appreciate, in a market where so many girl-aimed toys are mindless. Great toy, totally recommend, bearing in mind that it is a do-together project until a certain age. As for the resulting figures, not sure how durable they are (we've done others that have fallen apart, but that depends on how well they are ironed and how they are treated) but that is not really the point.
