This multi-functional Halti Training Lead was designed to control, guide and tether a dog in a variety of situations. The Halti Training Lead can be used as an everyday lead or a specialist training tool. Two metres long and double-ended, the Halti Training Lead provides flexibility, a short lead for heelwork or obedience training, a longer lead for recall and distance work. When used in conjunction with a Halti Headcollar, this lead can also provide a vital double-lead system which is particularly useful for managing over-boisterous, aggressive or otherwise troublesome dogs. We've owned this lead for over three years now and it's still going strong. It's comfy to hold being padded nylon, great in the wind and rain! It offers three different length options, the short being ideal for busy pavements, longer length for country walks. You can also walk two dogs off the one lead.
It's been in the sand, the sea, left outside and it's still in great condition. All stitching remains intact.
It also combines well with the gentle leader harness which we used in the dog's earlier years.

We bought this lead for our Chocolate Labrador, who often pulls hard, and the stiff nylon of other leads has cut and chafed our hands. This lead is nice and soft though the complete length of the lead, and this is not an issue at all.
The lead is soft, strong, and has 3 length settings which are really handy, including the ability to put it around your waist.
The lead is well made and versatile, and also makes it easy to tie the dog up if your popping into a shop etc.
Don't be fooled by the cheap price, this is a great lead. Highly recommended, and great value.

I love this lead. I didnt buy it for training purposes. I bought it because it will go around your waist. I was diagnosed with breast cancer 2 years ago and I had to have all the lympth glands removed from my right side so I cant use my right arm to walk my dog any more so this lead is perfect for me and when it rains it now means I can use my umberella too.

Training aid
A very useful training aid, used with flat collar and harness, for an unruly 26kg rescue dog, there has been a steady improvement since we started using it.

Great training lead
This is my second Halti training lead, the clip broke on the first one - but it did have a lot of use over 3 years! Versatile, great for training, highly recommended
