HALTI has become the world's favourite canine headcollar because it has been designed to combine maximum steering efficiency with unequalled comfort for the dog. There are no metal parts in contact with the dog's skin and the point of steering is well down the nose and away from the eyes. A particular feature of the HALTI which is not shared by other designs of headcollar, is that it has an on-off muzzling action to close the dog's jaws. The HALTI makes training and behaviour modification of dogs practical and safe. It can be used in a number of ways: either as a passive means to simply stop dogs pulling, or as an active training aid. Handlers can gently direct the dog's head, steering him into desired positions which can then be rewarded and linked to a command associated with that posture, for example 'sit'! The HALTI range features six sizes in four colours and there is also a special leather-padded edition available. A velcro fastening can also be requested as an alternative to the standard clip fastening, to aid owners with reduced dexterity.

A good aid in handling dogs who tend to pull on the lead. I do get fed up with people asking why my dog is wearing a muzzle, though! A size three is ideal for a Labrador Retriever. The nose is nicely padded, and the Halti Link is brilliant!

This is a life saver. I bought this for my very strong 8 month Golden Retriever Finlay who pulls terribly on the lead. I am only 5ft 2" tall and walking Finlay was becoming almost impossible especially in the recent icy weather. After trying various harnesses with very limited success - I can honestly say that this headcollar is miraculous. I also purchased the Halti Large Training Lead to use in conjunction with the headcollar which I also Highly recommend- it has a clip on either end - one attaches to the headcollar the other attatches to the dogs normal collar so you have double control it has 8 different functions and is very comfortable to use. After 10 minutes Finlay was walking perfectly - where he should be by my side and not 10 paces in front of me pulling my arms out of their sockets! Finlay has gone from a nightmare to walk to a pleasure to walk. Dont hesitate Buy One!

Have always frowned upon these items as I have had little trouble training my dogs in the past, I have always objected against dogs being fitted with what resembles a horses harness.
HOWEVER, I now have a 7 month old ridgeback cross whom has got quite large and heavy, and is very easily distracted and pulls on her lead. My wife is only 5 foot tall and cannot control the dog whom has almost pulled her over on occassions, so against my better judgement I tried this product as a last resort.
AMAZING, to overcome the dogs initial resentment on having the halti fitted, I took her on a brisk 15 min walk, moving at a good pace so she did not get the oppotunity to paw her face. there is absolutely no need for me to tug or correct her becauseshe cannot attempt to stray as her head is fixed in position next to me. After only 5 min she was wlaking in a relaxed manner by my side. The next day I convince my wife to walk the dog, - amazing the dog remained next to her, no tension at all on the lead. When I let her run I remove the halti completely by releasing the quick release buckle, and again on fitting it takes seconds to slip on.

halti head collar
excellent product helps stop my dog from pulling on the lead. i reccomend this type of collar to any dog owner having problems with lead pulling.
