I know that people say that you can adapt all your old recipes for the halogen oven, but when you are tackling a totally new way of cooking I feel this book is extremely helpful. Not only does it tell you what type of cooker to buy, but it also gives loads of other hints and tips before you even start to use your oven. When it comes to the recipes, they are extremely clear, even down to which shelf to use, what container to cook in, timings and number of portions. It also tells you whether the food is equally good hot or cold and whether you can freeze the dish. The book is printed on good quality paper and the photography is excellent. I thoroughly recommend this book and, at the price Amazon is charging (the original price was £7.99) it is a real bargain.

This book is very easy to understand, it introduces the halogen oven by describing the uses of the oven, how to choose one and gives tips on how to use it. The selection of recipes with tempting dishes were beautifully photographed in colour. It was well worth the price, thank you Amazon.

Glossy version of the free one from Andrew James
This is contains the exact same recipes as the one provided free with the Andrew James oven, that said it has colour photo of every dish whereas the free one has none. Read more
