Received the oven as a Christmas gift, and was cautious regarding its capability, so started small. First tried a jacket potato, and as there are some fairly wild claims regarding speed of cooking on the net which vary from "at the speed of a microwave" to "same cooking times as a fan oven" I had to cook and test as I went along. I would say "at the speed of a fan oven" was most realistic, but at this stage did not have any recipe books to consult so went with what I could find on the net.Its main advantage in my opinion is that it cooks at lower temperatures than I would set my conventional oven to complete the same task. Next tried a Sunday Roast, and at this stage did not have any extender or other accessories. It was a beef joint weighing about 1 kg amd purposely did not turn it over during cooking as i wanted to test the oven capapbility, but i did keep a meat thermometer in all the time. Added par boiled potatoes at the time that I had calculated, then added veg. Cooking the whole meal for 1 person was great. The meat cooked great but think if turned over a couple of times would have been more evenly cooked, the potatoes and veg were cooked just right. So no more caution, it does a great job. Used the cleanimg facility, but quite frankly it cleans very well by conventional washing up techniques in the sink. So in summary it has cooked everything that I have tried to a good standard, easy to use, easy to clean, It is perfect for me as I live on my own, but have cooked for two after purchasing the extender ring, and now I have a couple of cook books for it, will get more adventurous with time. I am very pleased with the results.
