If you love Halloween, and want your party to have that special something extra, it's in this book, amazingly disgusting and fabulous food and drink receipes, wonderful decoration ideas that don't cost a packet, games and stories too !! Follow some of the ideas in this book and you will have your guests talking about your party for months to come and booking up to come to your next one, staight away.
But that's not all, this book is not just about the fun stuff, there is also easily understandable information about the origins of Halloween from the distant past right up to the present day, putting straight some of the many misconceptions about the celebration. It also provides some beautiful family orientated ideas so that people can add a new dimension to their celebrations of the season, ideas that could quite easily become family traditions.
I would definately recommend this book to anybody, even if you think you know everything there is to know about Halloween, I'm pretty sure you will find something you don't know or haven't tried in the pages of this book.

A fabulous little book that gives a good overview of the origins and history of Halloween as well as a wealth of ideas on how to celebrate it with style. Well worth a read and will be a permanent fixture on my bookshelf. I especially like the way it strikes a balance between frivolity and meaningful celebration without being at all 'preachy', there are suggestions here suitable for every family.

This is a well written, charming book on the British aspects of Hallowe'en. As one who is a Witch, this book brings out the old ways of celebrating this Holiday. Wonderful and not to be missed!!
