General care instructions:
Washing:
1.Hand wash / machine cold wash ONLY
2.Remove EL flash panel, battery pack and the whole power cord carefully before washing
3.Do not submerge ANY part of the flash panel
Using:
1.Insert standard 4*AAA batteries (Batteries not included)
2.Slide switch to operate power
3.Do not bend or apply pressure to the flash panel.

The item is brilliant, well worth the price, caused a lof of joy to our son, it was his favorite of all this halloween.

Poor quality product. The T-shirt was as cheap and badly fitting as you can get.. the flashing design was a velcro attachment which did not match the colour of the shirt. I didn't even try the lights as the shirt was too tacky and cheap to comprehend wearing in public. Would have looked better in a bin bag.

This will probably arrive in time if you are looking for something to wear this Halloween (I ordered Sun 23rd and it arrived Tues 25th). As far as Halloween costumes go the quality is good. The black t-shirt is o.k. and comfy to wear - double check sizing before ordering as MEDIUM is massive (medium mans size). The flashing part does flash and looks great in the dark. It's ideal for a Halloween disco. The flashing is activated by noise or movement next to the battery pack which sits in an inside pocket near the bottom hem of the t-shirt so you can still make in flash in a quiet environment by tapping the battery box.
However the main design is a thick square plastic panel that is velcroed onto the main shirt so it stands proud like a tacky plastic placard. All the wiring is concealed neatly with fabric and pockets behind the main body of the shirt. In the world of tacky halloween costumes this is fine but it's not a t-shirt you'll wear in the daylight.
You may want to order some AAA batteries as this shirt needs 2 - not the 4 the description says.
My nearly teenage daughter loves it so it can't be that awful. I've just ordered her the flashing alien version. You could easily velcro the flashing panel onto another shirt/ outfit.
