This classic soundtrack from the 1981 film is a personal favourite and god bless the team at Death Waltz records for giving us this top class vinyl release! The cover artwork is also amazing, and a poster is also included!

5.0 out of 5 stars Halloween II - Better Than You Remember 16 April 2013
By SolarSnark - Published on Amazon.com
I probably should preface this review with the fact that I am one of the biggest fans of the Halloween franchise (Pre-Rob Zombie) you can find. I have all the soundtracks on cd from Halloween to Halloween: Resurrection. I recently bought Halloween through Halloween 4 on vinyl and OMG it's like discovering it for the first time all over again.

I bought this pressing of the soundtrack of Halloween II - with Michael Myers wearing a nurse hat - and I have to say, on vinyl, the sound is much richer and it takes me back to the first time I saw Halloween II and fell in love with the music. If you're going to buy the Halloween II soundtrack, buy it on vinyl. You won't regret it.

5.0 out of 5 stars HALLOWEEN II 1 May 2013
By Cristopher Howard - Published on Amazon.com
Site Description:

Exclusive New artwork from Brandon Schaefer.

Liner notes by Alan Howarth & Brandon Schaefer.

John Carpenter and Alan Howarth managed to do something not many people have been able to do with their score to Halloween II. They managed to take the blueprint of the first films score and make it bigger, darker and nerve shreddingly intense. Synths wail and stutter as the score progresses to the point where you feel your head might implode from the oncoming onslaught. This score really should be played late at night with all of the lights out.

Ltd edition on Black & Orange colour effect vinyl.

5.0 out of 5 stars Second best score of the franchise! 26 Aug 2013

This is the best score to any Michael Myers film to date, for some reason I have always enjoyed Halloween III the most, not saying it's a better film, but it certainly is the one I watch most, and that goes for the score too, obviously the best Halloween scores are the first 3, although there are some choice tracks by Alan Howarth sprinkled throughout 4-6, Halloween II score is way more crisp and polished and more enjoyable than the first one. or any of the other Myers' related scores to come, this awesome Death Waltz re-issue came packed with a nice poster and the vinyl was ink orange/black color itself, amazing!
