There are only ten songs on this CD but I've never come across a better Halloween themed album. I bought this album specifically for the theme song from "Attack of Killer Tomatoes" and this seemed to be the only album which has the original version. I paid just over £2 for it and it was more than worth it. Any album that can have "The Monster Mash" and the legendary Screamin' Jay Hawkins on one CD is a must own. Having listened to it several times now my favourite track has to be "The Blob" by The Five Blobs which is one funky jam.

The ten songs are a good mix from nice rock and roll tunes to movie and TV themes and there's "Ghostbusters" who doesn't love that? This is the perfect CD for kids Halloween parties. It's good clean fun you can leave playing in the background for a spooktacular party!

this cd has the cleanest, clearest cut of jumpin" gean simmons hit, haunted house. it's unfortunate that so few people seem to remember this hit. this cd is worth it for only that song. the original Ghost Busters tune is on this cd and is also the clearest I've ever heard. this cd is one you should get !

Alot of great trick or treat party tunes 25 Sept. 2002

You can't go wrong with this if you are looking for some fun music for Halloween. Whether you're planning a party or just want to listen to this while distributing candy, this is probably the best Halloween music collection around. Now if only RHINO would come out with a Part 2. Great fun here for everyone.

Halloween Hits 20 Jan. 2001

This is a wonderful CD for the family. My young children love it and we spent lots of time dancing to it. We even listened to it at my child's kindergarten Halloween party. It was a big hit. Unlike many of the Halloween CDs today this one is not frightening. It is fun and upbeat. I highly recommend it.

Fairly Solid Halloween Holiday Music. 16 Oct. 2003

I originally discovered this album several years ago while working on the children's radio program I used to dj and produce. I really enjoyed listening to the music, but had to leave the cds behind when I left the show after moving out of the city. Now that I currently am back on the air with an internet radio show, I've been looking around for some good quality Halloween music to play on my new show. There really isn't much out there. A lot of the Halloween cds you buy are compliations of songs rearranged by different artists or studio groups. That's not the case with HALLOWEEN HITS. There are only 10 songs on the album, but they are all sung by the original artists. Some of them are Halloween favorites, such as "Monster Mash" and "Ghostbusters" while others are related to frightening/scary/monster themes and shows, such as the "Addam's Family Theme" and "The Twilight Zone Theme". It would be nice if this cd had a few more tunes on it, but for less than $10, it's basically a bargain. A good cd to play at Halloween.

Great Music Sung by the People that Made them Great! 23 Oct. 2005

A CD of fun, & silly Halloween music that you can enjoy because it's the recordings of the original singers, not the original singers brother's cousin's hairdresser's aunt. If you like Dr Demento type music, then you'll love this! My kids enjoy it as well. The 2 best songs are of course, Monster Mash and Martian Hop. Give it a try!
