Before reading these, please note Halloween Heat V is a set of 5 quickies (20 pages or less each) with a fun Halloween theme. They range from MFM, FFM, and MMF with varying scenes and settings. Each review is fairly short so as not to give too much detail from the stories.
Alyssa Turner: Thrills and Chills
Who said haunted houses have to be scary? I'll take this sexy one any day if it includes tow hunky captors pleasuring me in the dark.
Melanie, was excited that her friend Danny finally scored an invite to the Sigma Pi Halloween party. She had always wanted to go, and now she and her two closest friends are off for some scary fun. Dressed as Madonna, Melanie anxiously rides with her friend Vincent to the party. Approached by hacked up, headless twins, monsters that go bump in the night and other haunts awaiting their arrival, Melanie searches for Danny but she and Vincent eventually head toward the Path of Doom to make their way to the party. When Melanie sets foot into the dark, demented halls that lead the way, she loses sight of Vincent and is lost in the depths. When she hears a dark voice approach from behind, and a grip finds its way around her to hold her still, fear and excitement rush through her as she realizes her captor wants more than a good scare. Will she run screaming for her life, or face the unknown desires that hide in the dark?
I have to say that this was one of my favorites out of the five quickies in this book. Halloween has always been a favorite time of year for me and I am a huge adrenaline junkie. The idea of being taken advantage of in the dark as strangers walk by unknowingly is exciting. It is just like when you are in a haunted house, you know they can't hurt you but you crave the fear. In this case, Melanie craves the thought of being a captive even if she knows underneath that she is safe. It allows her to feel liberated in letting her captors take control.
Eden Summers: Phantom Pleasure
Emma could not believe she had to arrive at the Halloween party alone. Dressed like an angelic prostitute she was beginning to wonder about the costume her husband Tim had picked for her. Standing alone and scantily clad, she dials his number to find out where he is only to be told to look for a black cloak. The problem was, Tim was not the only one is such attire. Approaching the bar in an attempt to be smart, she dials her husband once again to see which cloaked man answers his phone. When they both pick up their phones at the same time, she is simply stumped. Told to go upstairs and search for her room, when she turns around the cloaked men are gone. Confused but curious, Emma follows directions and finds herself alone in the dark with two mysterious men that want her all to themselves. Her husband had always fantasized about her with another man, and she is more than willing to make that fantasy come true. But when the tricks and treats are over, will she be willing to let her phantom go?
This book is seriously giving me ideas that I need to sneak to my husband. All of these mysterious encounters can make a girl yearn for the excitement. Emma knows her husband is at the party but she can't see him even though he is constantly watching her. The tricks with the double cloaks are fun and the atmosphere when she walks into the room with her double phantoms is nothing less than thrilling. Giving into their every command, she finds herself in a living fantasy of pleasure and ecstasy without holding back. A perfect Halloween fantasy filled with desires fulfilled.
Jennifer James: Deployment Gifts
If this is what trick or treat was like for me, I would wish for Halloween every day!
Krista had a treat that she couldn't wait to give Craig. Back from military deployment and about to deploy once more, she had to give him something to think about during those lonely nights in the desert. She knew she was in love with him but that it would never work. He didn't want a relationship but she loved being the one he came to when he was home and always made sure she was single when he was in town. Dressed in her sexiest corset and heels, and hiding her best friend and occasional lover; Jade in the other room, Craig wouldn't know what hit him. When Craig walks in the door his hands are on Krista the moment he sees her. Ready to get down and dirty, he was not expecting the surprise she had waiting. Finding himself restrained and watching the hottest show he had ever seen, he knew what he wanted and he wanted it now. Will the pre-deployment visits continue to be enough? Or will this happy Halloween have more tricks and treats revealed?
This story was hot and sexy but sweet and tear inducing as well. I can picture this with so many people. Although a very short story, I know there are many women out there that are in love with a man in the service knowing that they may not make it home. The idea of setting up a threesome as a Halloween surprise makes for a fun story and Craig's reaction was priceless. Jade's character adds a unique dynamic to the story that enhances the relationship that could develop between Craig and Krista. You can see he cares for her and if the two of them would tell each other how they feel, perhaps things would change. A hot little story with a sweet surprise.
Vristen Pierce: Taking Candy
Candy Sturman was determined to have her way tonight. It was Halloween, she was in her most provocative cheerleader costume, and two of the hottest guys she had been after are going to be at the party. Brett was the guy she could never get her hands on. Every time she would try, he was attached and unavailable. Grayson was a sure thing as long as there was no competition at the party. Either way, she wanted them both and would find a way to make it work. It was trick or treat time and she was going to treat herself to a busy night. When she arrives at the party, she is surprised to see a warm-up waiting on the side of the house. Rico was a complete stranger, but a hot one nonetheless and Candy was not one to resist temptation. Satisfying her craving in the shadows beside the house, she heads into the party and zeros in on her target. Grayson is alone and away from the crowds. When Candy finally gets what she wanted, an intruder makes his presence known. Will Candy still get the treats she came for?
WOW! Candy does not hold back from what she wants. I enjoyed this story simply for the fact that Candy took everything she desired and did not take no for an answer. I don't know many women that are as bold as she and it is fun to wonder what it would be like to be the woman that doesn't care who she pisses off because she wants sex now and knows exactly who she will get it from. She is fun a flirty and has no inhibitions. Candy is the superhero of sex, able to take many men in a single night.
Ana Maria Pasion: Trick or Treat
Jack is 18 years old and beyond trick or treating. His last Halloween before joining the marines, he is out to have some fun with his best friend Connor. When the playtime leads them to the window of the woman across the street, Jack and Connor find themselves watching Shirley having sex with a man while they attempt to handle their own urges individually. Literally caught with their pants down, Jack and Connor are led into Shirley's bed where they realize there is much more to their urges than they knew. Giving in to their curiosities and fulfilling their deepest desires, they let their inhibitions go and allow their teenage fantasies to come to life. They found their treats for Halloween, but the tricks still await them.
This story was interesting but I think it was a bit much for a quickie. A lot happens in a very short time and I wonder how long the feelings between Connor and Jack have been lingering. While Shirley is the ice breaker for the two young men, her character seems inconsequential once things get started. Jack and Connor seem to have deeper feelings for one another than is explained in the story and I would love to see if there is something more there should the author continue their story, What does have me stumped is the ending of this quickie. I will not leave a spoiler but I am wondering what type of "trick" they are in for.
All five stories in this set are fun to read. They definitely put me in the Halloween spirit and will add some fun and sexy ideas to ponder for any reader. If you are a fan of fun and fantasy, these quickies are sure to be a "treat" for the Halloween season!
