The Baby Xylophone is an accurately tuned eight note Xylophone and is a real musical instrument especially designed for children from twelve months. The high quality colourful note bars have been electronically tuned by hand making each bar note perfect. The Baby Xylophone produces wonderful clear and rich sounds and is sure to delight both children and adults. The instrument has chunky, rounded edges and has been designed so that the note bars are inaccessible to tiny fingers. The Baby Xylophone comes with a baby-safe specially shaped mallet which cleverly clips away underneath the Xylophone for easy storage.
With a specially moulded handle, the Baby Xylophone is easy and comfortable to carry and the vibrantly coloured note bars provide lots of visual stimulation. I was not impressed with this product. This one sounds pretty crummy all the way around. Too bad, because I really wanted to be able to add this to the set of musical toys my daughter has. Alas, I sent it back.

This is my 11 month old daughters favourite toy yet! It took a few days of showing her how to bash it and now she goes straight for it and will happily bash away. It will last her for ages yet and she'l be able to read the music to play the tunes on the sheet provided easily one day as the notes are colour coded to the bars.

It is not a xylophone!
This is not a xylophone but a metallophone/glockenspiel - bars are metal and the frame is plastic and as such a total disappointment.
