Our 3 months old and even our 2,5 years old love this play mat. It is really large, has bright colors and a few items like the mirrors to develop the baby's curiosity and senses. It can be folded and has handles to carry it.

My six months old son loves to play on that mat and I feel he is safe when he does. We lay it over the carpet and he enjoys playing on it, exploring pictures, textures and noises.

This mat is an ideal size for my 6 month old baby to roll around on. It is very thick and comfy and has lovely soft patches in places. My little one loves the bright colours! It washes really well. I put it in the washing machine on its own every couple of weeks on a 40deg wash and it comes out lovely. It is a bit pricey but I would recommend it to anyone if you can afford it.
