I must have bought one of these 30 odd years ago. It doesn't seem to have changed much since then (apart from the price). I use this a a means of displaying parking tickets on my motorbike. The holder is reasonably durable and has a screw on chrome holder. It won't stop a determined thief unscrewing it quickly by hand and pinching the contents - but probably to much faff just a parking ticket.

I ordered this tax disc holder for my cruiser, wanted chrome to fit with the chrome already on the bike, but the metal colour is faded yes its white but doesn't look like chrome at all

I had to replace my tax disk and holder on my vintage Austin 7 Speedy replica when they fell off, never to be seen again. This holder looks exactly right and I shall be careful to fasten it on in a slightly more secure way, this time! You don't realise just how much everything vibrates on a vintage car with leaf springs ... Very pleased.
