Hairy MacLary has a bone which other dogs desire. He goes under, over, through etc etc to shake off his competitors.
Excellent - my 22-month-old loves it. What better recommendation could you have?

If you don't know about Hairy Maclary then start with HM from Donaldson's Dairy , but if you are already a fan :
We are working through the H.M. books - sampling them at the library before buying.
Both 5mth old son, who beams to the books he enjoys (not sure what his criteria are of course), and us parents enjoyed this story.
Probably preferred the original story and 'Shoo' more, but this is still probably one we'll buy.

Love it! got all hairy maclary storys & slinky malinky storys - really superb.
My 5 year old loves them been adding to collection since he was 3. my 2 year old is loving them too.
Oh and me mum I love them too!!!!

Hairy Maclarys Bone
A great addition to the series. Thoroughly enjoyed during story time and prompts lots of questions regarding the other characters in the book
