About the Author
Si King is a big, blonde-bearded biker from Newcastle, where he lives with his partner and three children. His infectious laugh and friendly charm have served him well for many years working as a first assistant director and locations manager for film and television, recently working on the Harry Potter films.
Dave Myers was born and bred in Barrow-in-Furness and his versatile skills have taken him to some unusual places. He worked as a furnaceman in a steelworks to finance his Master's degree in fine arts before joining the BBC as a make-up artist, specialising in prosthetics. He has worked on many feature films and television series, including 'Lives and Loves of a She Devil', and the current BBC One hit 'Spooks'.

Just what cooking has been crying out for, a fresh and fun way of trying things new and exotic and making it look easy, these guys are really something special, their love for food and life makes for a really good read.

It`s a travel book, a cookbook, a bike book, a photojournal all rolled into one. AND it`s essentially northern with that irreverent northern humour that comes from the welding together of two friends - one from Newcastle and the other from Barrow in Furness.
Think the Long Way Round meets Jamie Oliver but with great bikes, great recipes and laugh out loud narrative.

This is an excellent book full of great recipes and travelogue.
The humour is just brilliant...

hairy bikers cook book
there wasn't as many recipes in as i thought there would be, also not all of them have a picture. i've flicked through and will be selling it on.

HAIRYYYYY
great book, wonderful recipes, makes me hungry just thinking about it. lots of nice pictures, although i dont like the one of them naked in the mud. puts you off your food a bit. Read more

Excellent book!
I love the Hairy bikers on T.V. They are just ordinary guys and they 'do' ordinary cooking! Though it has to be said, to such a high standard that the chefs admire them. Read more
