Hagaren Song File: Best Compilation(2Cd) [Soundtrack, Import]

I'm so glad that this collection has been published, now I can have all 5 song file singles in only 2 discs. However, I'm a little pity that the original karaoke versions were not in this collection.

When I first saw this collection, I found it worth the money. The 2 CDs and the plastic box were packed in a delicate and pretty metal box. And there was a lovely sticker went with this collection, and the lyric book was beautiful and thick! Well, the price is not very high, is it? ^^

I think Edward Elric's song file is the best in the 5, every song in the single is perfect. There is a song "Haganeno Kokoro" (Sorry, I don't know how to translate these songs' titles from Japanese into English) that performed by Edward, Alphonse and Winry, I can't help listening to it over and over again, because their voices are my favorites! "The Place to Go Tomorrow" (Maybe the first song in his song file can be translated like this. ^^) is very, very excellent, it feels just like Edward's personality. I love it so much! Even the karaoke version of it is so good! "Returnable Memories" is great while I listen to it for more times. Edward Elric is the principal character indeed!

Alphonse Elric's and Winry Rockbell's are the second bests in my opinion. Alphonse's song "Anoyumenomukoue" is really lovely, the background sound is just like the sound of music box, and Alphonse's voice is gentle and sweet. I don't know why this song almost makes my tears fall. One of the sentence in the lyric maybe can be translated as "I won't forget anything happened those days", and I can infer that the lyric is beautiful but a little sad. "Trance to Homunculus" is good but a little confused to me. The song "Bokuwakokoniiru" reflected a strong and faithful Alphonse. Winry's song "BOY FRIENDS!" and it's karaoke version are the bests in her song file. This song feels just like Winry's personality, lively and cute. The lyric is sweet and pure, the tune is rhythmic and inspired just like a spirited and pretty young girl. Through the song "Gindokei", I see "another" Winry, tender and kind-hearted.

Maes Hughes's song file is not as good as Elrics's and Winry's, but it's still pretty good! Especially the song he performed with his daughter, it's beautiful, and I really feel warm inside while every time I listen to it. However, when I first listen to this song, and associated it with the story in the TV Series that Hughes died, I felt very sad. "Angel Heart" is a tender and lovely song, I can't understand every sentence in the lyric, but I bet it's beautiful. And the voice of Hughes's dubber is so good!

I'm a little disappointed that songs in Roy Mustang's song file does not meet my expectation, and it's not as good as the other 4 in my opinion. He is handsome and one of my favorite characters in Fullmetal Alchemist, and I was expecting to listen to his song file, but it is not so good as my anticipation. However, this is just my PERSONAL OPINION, maybe there are many people who love this very much, especially his super fans! Besides, in fact, I think Roy on the song file's cover is very, very, very handsome! ^^

In disc 2, there are special versions of the first songs of the 5 song files. I think "The Place to Go Tomorrow" Acoustic Version is pretty good, it's even better than its original version, maybe it because that the background music is lovely! "BOY FRIENDS!" Honey Love Version is wonderful too, it feels so cute and crystal. "Anoyumenomukoue" Ochestra Version does not meet my expectation, but I still love it because the melody hasn't been changed at all. The 2 new songs were what I expected most and they didn't make me disappointed. The style of "LASTMEETing" is one of my favorites, this song is so touching that my tears fell when I first listened to it. "Good!" is perfect, 5 members who had got their own song files sang together. This song is so lively, it has wonderful melody, rhythmic tune and funny lyric. I love it very much!

I think this collection is one of the best Fullmetal Alchemist music collections, but my friends and I still doubt that whether it is complete. Because some good and important characters haven't had got their own song files yet, for example, Liza Hawkeye and the Homunculus. I wish that there would be more and more song files of Fullmetal Alchemist characters that we fans love so much! I'm expecting! ^^
