Still a need for corded kettles.,

I was thrilled to be able to find a corded kettle as my 89yr old mother has to have a 'tipper' to help her pour from the kettle and only corded kettles will fit. No high street stores now stock them only cordless kettles. I tried to find Haden kettles as we have tried other makes but Haden have proved to be the best and most durable. So thankyou and keep supplying them.

This is an excellent kettle for the money. If you are looking for a decent quality and reasonable priced kettle then you won't go far wrong in purchasing this one. Delivery was really quick too.However if you are purchasing this because you need it to fit a cradle used for an elderly or infirm person then this may not necessarily be the right one. One of the earlier reviews said this kettle would fit such a cradle but I've found it does not fit the cradle supplied to my mother. Keeping it anyway, to use myself at a later date, as it was such good value not worth sending it back. I was told by the rehabilitation team any corded kettle with a curved front would fit the cradle but this is obviously not the case. Given the kettle a 5 star rating as this is not a criticism, only mentioned in case anbody is in the same situation and wanted to make them aware.

Not sure how much I can say about a kettle, but the tipper is really useful. Bought this for someone with a disability and it means they don't have to pick it up. Does mean they have to fill it by filling a glass under the tap and then pouring it into the kettle, though. The cord really needs to be pushed hard into the back otherwise has a tendency to come out - which isn't good if someone has dexterity problems or lacks strength. But the tipper wins it.
