Didn't cut it... 16 Mar 2009

Very disappointed with this knife. Had a knife for 25 years which developed an electrical fault so had to replace. Thinking technology would be better now I chose this cheaply priced knife but it does not cut anything without effort. You really have to press hard to carve meat but it ends up a mess rather than neat slices. Ended up buying the more expensive Morphy Richards one, which performs more like my old one. Cheapest is definitely not best in this case!

Easy On The Hands.
I bought this because my wife and myself suffer from arthritis in the hands/fingers,and this is like poetry in motion. We never thought about an electric knife,we tried increasing the handle on knives to make the handle to fit better in our hands, but didn`t work.It was only by chance when i was browsing through Amazon that i noticed the end to our problems, and promptly purchased it straight away.
The knife was delivered express as usual with Amazon, and we would not be without it,i never thought that you would call an electric knife a disabled aid aswell, but believe me it is a godsend.
A must item for all!!.

not very powerful 4 Feb 2009

This replaced one that finally gave up the ghost after many years. It is not very powerful and needs a lot of pressure to slice through a loaf of bread.
