I can see how this product would not be suitable for someone with thin hair or hair that lacked volume, however for my wild and unruly hair this has done the BEST job ever! My hair is very dry due to the natural curl I have, and partly I guess as I'm beginning to age now, but this product has left my hair so that I look like I've just been to the salon.

As my hair is SO dry I use this every time I wash my hair and I am just so happy with the results. I do think that this may make 'normal' hair greasy and I do think if you lack volume then it will make your hair 'hang' at the roots as the cream is just so thick.

FOR: Afro hair, Curly hair, Dry hair, Frizzy hair
NOT FOR: Lifeless hair, greasy hair, Thin hair
OCCASIONAL USE: Normal hair.

Obviously this is my opinion on the product but I hope this helps.

I recently had blond highlights on top of over processed long dyed brown hair. I use straighteners, have naturally curly hair and it was looking really bad/ breaking/ really dry ( to the point where I was considering having it cut off)
I did my research and purchased this product after having used the oil and being pleased with that.
It is a lot of money to spend but actually you only need a teaspoon or so. Have to say that my hair looks and feels fantastic - like i've had a hairdressers treatment on it but better.
It does take some washing out but does rinse out. If you are wondering about this product - don't wonder - just buy it!!

I cannot understand the people who say....'it's okay, but after three washes my hair was back to feeling dry'. Repairing hair is a process; a journey...not a one night wonder. I am 53 with dyed blonde hair. It is naturally dry even before I started with the tint, and I suffer with breakage. When I brushed my hair, broken split ends would fly everywhere, and my brush was always full of hair. I have shoulder length, layered hair and it never seemed to grow. It just broke at the ends. My hair was stubby and broken at the nape of my neck, and around my temples. It never had any body, and was dry, flat and lifeless, with no shine. If I was going out for a special occasion, I had to start in the afternoon....praying that 'this time' , my hair might look ok. It never did, no matter what I put on it. Blonde, dry, puffy, straw. Menopause didn't help, as this hormonal stage is well known for hellish hair on top of everything else. So...usual story, a friend recommended moroccanoil products and I decided to try it. I bought the moisture, and the repair conditioner. I like to rotate products, as I feel my hair 'gets used' to only using one shampoo or conditioner, and it doesn't work as well after a while. With this in mind, I bought a couple of other products and decided to really try to improve the condition of my hair over six months. The conditioning products I used were moroccanoil moisture, moroccanoil repair, and Shea moisture. I used a normal cheap shampoo. I washed my hair every three days with one shampoo....followed by 30 - 45 minutes of conditioner, rotating the three products. I used a shower cap over the conditioner covered by a towel, for heat retention. It's a bit of a faff, and very time consuming, but worth it, I didn't get back in the shower...just rinsed my hair off in the sink. I did this every three days for six months, and occasionally, the night before washing my hair I would sleep with my hair lathered in the Shea moisture conditioner. Six months later, swishy hair like silk. It's also growing....which it never did before. It is genuinely shiny, bouncy and swingy. I love my hair. Great hair, if you chemically process it or dye it...or perm it...is impossible without hard work. Moroccanoil works. It's pricey because.....it works!

I didnt love this bit to greasy and heavy for my hair although the pot is huge and would last for ever so i think it is def a good buy if you like it and it works for you, i kinda wish i had stuck with it as i gave it to my mother, i think it is a good product just i gave up to quickly with it. Think it would be very good combined with hot towel steaming

This is good but not quite as amazing as I hoped it would be for the price. I use this every time I wash my hair and once a fortnight I leave it on overnight. My hair feels lovely but no different to when I've used much cheaper conditioners. If it was a tenner it would be great.

I bought this after rave reviews online from a couple of YouTube hair and make-up gurus. Firstly, this is one great-smelling product. It leaves your hair smelling sweet but not cloying. However, I failed to feel a significant difference in hair texture. Yes, my hair was somewhat softer but definitely not as soft as many others claimed. I am Taiwanese so my hair is straight black, with no curl whatsoever. I tried this one and the Macadamia Deep Repair Hair Masque and I would definitely recommend the latter, not this one. It's expensive for what it is and I think the Macadamia one works better for my hair. It still leaves your hair smelling great and a little smoother and softer though. Maybe it might work better for you but it's an alright product for me. 3 out of 5 stars.

Its hard to pick one thats suitable as there are hundreds on the market. you can do as much research as you like, the best research is to actualy test the product on your hair. Was OK, but after three washes, by coarse Mediterranean hair was back to being coarse

I absolutely love this Intense Moroccan oil hydrating mask. It is fantastic for all hair types. It gives moisture and bounce to my hair. I highly recommend this mask. I would not use any other hair conditioner now that I have found this hair mask.

I wet hair, put on a decent amount all over, leave on for five mins whilst singing in the shower then shampoo out using kerastase. Works brilliantly. If I do it the other (normal) way around, I find hair greasy next day. This way, it is spot on.
