Ok giving out 5 stars isn't something i do often, but this monitor truely deserves it. The picture is gorgeous and crystal clear. the response time is very quick so even very fast paced games like UT have no ghosting what-so-ever. some people are a little reluctant about buying a widescreen monitor (esp. gamers) and i was too, but after 5 minutes with this monitor i realized that widescreen > standard without a doubt. most games support 1440x900 and if they don't then you can use a different resolution and it still looks good. this thing is cheap as dirt too, but it's quality FAR surpasses its price, it should cost about 4 times more. Best monitor available in this price range

I bought two of these monitors for my Powermac, one of them had a faulty pixel right bang in the centre, but was picked up by DHL next day, just waiting for a replacement. Despite this I had the other to play with! Being a Brand snob at times I would normally go for something that wasn't the cheapest just to assure quality. But the hanns G is awesome. Its sharp, bright, vivid with a picture quality not too disimiliar to a lcd screen probably twice its price. Was a bit dissappointed with the fact that they don't come with DVI cables like the US versions, not an major issue but would have been nice! HannsG has a sister company which is a LCD panel manufacturer, and these monitors are just their own branded panels, so you're really getting the same LCD panel which is probably in the more expensive branded monitors. For me the picture quality is good enough to do my video editing on...you couldn't find a better value for money monitor than this! Don't be fooled by the low price! it's not a compromise on quality!

Did an awful lot of research before buying this monitor and i must say all of the reviews i read on this monitor were exactly right. i got it out of the box and within five minutes it was up and running, altered the brightness, contrast & colour settings and massaged a pixel very gently just to help it work and hey presto. Excellent monitor for money. They are widely used in the computer suite at the university which i work and never had any problems with them. definetly worth five star status.
