I've borrowed this book from the library (and am going to purchase a copy from Amazon). This book is really good. You WILL be able to digest it as it's so easy to follow and isn't full of jargon. Personally, I would recommend this book highly!

I had no idea how to make a web-page, however, with the help of this book I am (already) well on my way. So buy it and GO FOR IT!

Excellent book on HTML for all levels, especially beginners. Its full-colour layout (packed with helpful illustrations) makes it easy to skim and digest the key concepts very quickly.

With this book you'll learn HTML and CSS very quickly.

I bought this book some months ago as a HTML newbie. Returning to the book now after building more complex websites using PHP, MySQL, wordpress, etc, you appreciate even more the excellent job the author has done.

If you are like me, always a couple of steps behind when it comes to technology, you will want this book. It is the first book on website building that has not left me with unanswered questions. It takes you from the very beginning, spells out clearly step by step, all you must do to build a web site. There are pictures, examples, and black and white "this is what you type in." There is no unexplained jargon, no assumptions that you have done this before...it just could not be any more plain. I have now built two professional websites in the last couple of months thanks to this book. You must have this book if you thought no one could ever make you understand.
