Great! My first steps in the code-world as an absolute beginner thanks to that book. Thank you, worked great for me...css I'm coming! There was only one thing I missed: I was hoping for a list or overview of all the learned tags at the end.

I wanted to begin writing ebooks, and bought a book just for this purpose. The book is called "The Ebook Design and Development Guide." It is an excellent book, but I found myself getting bogged down by the HTML portion. So I felt I should learn HTML first, before proceeding. So I bought "HTML Crash Course." It teaches HTML in 10 truly easy lessons. I have finished it in only a few sessions of study. This book is not some huge textbook. I'm not sure how many pages there are, but it is not long.
I also bought "CSS Crash Course," by the same author. It is the next step in mastering the computer language that ebooks are written in, and I'm sure it will be as easy as the first book. The author is very down to earth and practical. My favorite kind of teacher!

HTML was scary at first, but this book clarified it wonderfully.

I knew absolutely nothing about code. Didn't even know what it was for. It's a relief to know how simple it is. I can talk code now. I bought this book to see if it would be possible for me to format the description of my own Amazon-published print book, found on its Amazon book page, in a form other than all the sentences running together. Now I can have section headings, separate paragraphs, bold, italics, etc by using code. I can look for professional and maybe sell more books now. Great job Dr. Code! You get a 5.

This book saved the day. I was taking an online college course for web design, when I needed help and felt like bailing out of the course. I went to amazon and found this great little book. It saved the day, because it explained things in plain English, and I then sailed right through two more chapters after reading this little book. I loved it so much that I went on to purchase the CSS one. I am going to continue on to the next book, as I advance. Thanks to the writer.
