I know it's cheap, but I wouldn't recommend this Kindle book to anyone. It's short and says something about HTML, CSS and Java but lacks explanation and contains a critical error in the listing provided so that it doesn't work when you try it out. Specifically, in the HTML code provided, the statement says rel=stylesheet whereas it should read rel="stylesheet". Without this correction, the css file is not called, so you're stuck. The content should have been checked more carefully before publication.

I think this book give Amazon a bad reputation and would advise its withdrawal before creating further frustration

My honest opinion is that this book will give the beginner a very quick overview of html, cad and JavaScript. It give good practical examples to get started with your very first personal web pages.
