This is a great case overall. The thing I like the most about it is the grip it provides is excellent, needed, otherwise it is a very slippery finish on the one x phone edges. It fits very tightly around all edges without increasing the dimensions too much in your pocket. The disadvantage of this is that the case is not one you will want to take off and put back on regularly (eg whenever you are wanting to dock the phone in the official HTC one X car holder), as it would be a struggle to put back on repeatedly - if this applies to you.
It now feels much more comfortable gripping the camera when taking landscape shots - fear of dropping the phone is reduced.
It protects the camera when the camera surface is on a table. The HTC one X camera protudes from the back of the phone by about 2mm - making the phone lens (well glass outside lens) vulnerable to scratching(in my opinion) (horrible design flaw, dumb marketing gimmick). The case raises the camera glass 1mm off a table surface when the phone is camera-surface down, this provides much needed protection. The holes (speakerphone holes, micro USB, headphone) are all easily accessible. (FYI, I have a small scratch on the glass outside the camera already, sob! But is quite far out on the periphery and does not seem to affect the picture quality, not sure when this scratch happened - a ring on someone's finger I think, when they were gripping it, which demonstrates how exposed camera is)
The only real negative is the volume buttons on the side - the case is very stiff so need to press relatively hard to get volume up and down, a bit irritating. Top button (power) on the htc one x works fine. Course the case is a bargain, so worth it.
