This is a much better case than the standard HTC pouch. The quality of the case is very good. It allows quick access to the touch screen via the flip front. The front tucks nicely behind the phone allowing you to have the screen exposed when you place it on a desk and it sits at a slight tilt towards you thanks to the latch. The phone is held securely in the case by the two small clips either side and there is sufficient access to all ports/buttons when the flap is closed.
My only concern is that the corners of the phone are not protected. So if you were unfortunate enough to drop it and it landed directly on a corner, the case wouldn't provide much protection.

Pros:
1. Looks good. Good quality leather and contrasting stiching
2. The flap that covers the screen has a hard insert so that the screen would be protected if dropped
3. Case is just proud of the camera lens so the lens is protected in normal use and when the phone is put down on its back it doesn't rock on the lens
4. The front flap easily folds right back so you don't have to have the front flap hanging down when you speak.
5. With the front flap folded right back the phone sits on the desk at a slightly raised angle (like a laptop in a docking station)and, although it does rock slightly when pressed, you can 2 finger type.
6. Phone fits snugly and securely in the case. No chance of it falling out.
7. Soft felt like lining won't mark the phone.
8. Flap easily secured and released
9. All features accessable
10. Excellent value for money
Cons:
1. Just one and the only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that the corners of the phone are not well protected. However, if they were the cover would be bulkier and less attractive. For me it's an acceptable trade off.
Summary: Well thought out and attractive product that's a pleasure to use.

Looks good, far better than the silly pouch that you have to squeeze your HD2 out of that's supplied with the phone. Used with the HTC SP P300 screen protector for better protection though I use a gel case when I need full protection as the corners are not covered as mentioned before.
Just watch it when you need to remove your HD2 as the tight fit means the pressure required to get it out can cause you to play 'catch the slippery fish' with your HD2 which is not good if there's a hard floor for your phone to land on!
Can't help wanting to say 'beam me up Scottie' whenever I use it though, you'll see if you get one.
