I have been using HTC mobile phones since WM6, I have had bad and good mobiles but nothing has come close to this smart phone package for which the speed and practicality is mind-blowing.

From the box the UK version is running 2.3.4 (with sense 3.0), which may soon be updated from the current "gingerbread" to "ice cream sandwich", An OS to also be used on tablets. Sense 3.0, HTC's own user interface wrapped around android just makes 'sense': creating single click solutions and generally making life easier to juggle. For a full demonstration I recommend visiting the HTC website.

The GPS compared to other android devices is so much quicker and accurate. I had a fix within 2 seconds with an SE-Xperia and HTC-Hero at the same time having a wait-time of at least 60 seconds and still wasn't pin-pointing to the same accuracy.

Switching between and starting apps is ridiculously fast; you shan't miss a moment. The ever loved SWYPE mod for android is built in on this device making texting more accurate and faster than tapping away, just run your finger across the letters.

The DLNA for streaming videos, pictures and music wireless is fast and works great on 3D TV's also, the only issue I came across was File formats but the phone does give you a choice of formats to save as.

The built in 3D screen, using voxels i believe, is really clear but has a narrow 3D viewing angle. The touch screen it self is very responsive along with the touch keys along the bottom.

The flash for the cameras is great and is set depending on lighting conditions, this can be manually overridden too if need be.

i was a iphone user since 2008, every year i had new generation of iphone, so moving from ios to android i was worried that i wont like the laggy android os and i had no choice because of iphone interface, it was getting boring, i was sick and tired of the same old boring user interface, then i decided to get the evo 3d. boy im glad i made the move it is absolutley fantastic, there's so much freedom, im loving it, the phone is a beast its got a 1.2ghz dual core cpu that rips through the apps without any laggs, boy i would recommend this phone to anyone

I have used this phone for more than 1 year now and I am still happy with it.

This is my first smart phone so I can not compare it to any other, but I find it speedy and powerful. The battery is good until you turn on wifi or use camera/video play back then it eats it up. Music playback with poweramp app is superb, sounds even better than my ipod classic, so really impressed. I can navigate to what Im after quickly with the customisable home screen. I just watched Tin Tin in 3D on the phone and it looked really good. Autostereoscopic is really cool and I hope the tech will move more mainstream in the future, never been a fan of wearing the 3D glasses.

My main issue with the Evo3D is the camera. I have a 3DS and really enjoy 3D photos, I think they really add something to an image. The issue with the 3Ds is the resolution of the images was very very poor. Although the photos on the HTCEvo3D produce 5mp pictures which is enough, the quality of the photos is not so impressive. You may not notice so much on the phone screen but when viewed on a computer monitor it does not hold up. The camera sensor does not capture colour well, and all images seem quite desaturated. They also suffer from colour bleeding issues (for example if I take a head and shoulder photo of a person in a park, there is a slight, but noticeable, green tint to the person). In conclusion the photos look good on the screen, in fact they can look quite amazing in 3D but, 2D photos look disappointing when viewed at a larger scale back on a monitor or TV, and I would not use this instead of bringing a digital camera to something of significance.

After a year of use it is still going strong and I have had no major issues. Dropped it quite a few times, but with a protective case on, and it has received no visible or functional damage, so build quality is good, and I consider it good value for the money still in 2013.

I am using this phone for the past 2 Months and now this is my favourite phone. Its quite amazing how it does all functions so quick and efficient, its pure magic. I have used Iphone before and though HTC evo is just half the price when compared to the iphone it is miles ahead in technology and performance...I am loving it, best and most recommended.

I recently Purchased the HTC EVO 3D as an up-grade from the first HTC Wildfire. And I got to say the phone is awesome. The dual core processor makes the phone incredibly fast and the 3D function in excellent. The phone features a sharp 4.3" touch screen which allows you to complete any task with ease. The EVO 3D comes in an official HTC box and is unlocked, this will work an any network. I use a Network 3 Sim, and it works well, and works in a matter of seconds. The phone itself has a brilliant UI which is easy to use, even if not having used a HTC before. When purchasing this phone I thought that it would be similar to my HTC Wildfire, however I was wrong. This phone is extremely unique and the design clearly shows it as a flagship phone.

This phone runs Gingerbread and HTC Sense 3.0, and the two are a perfect combination. the download speeds are really good, unlike my previous phone which took a short while to download. The EVO 3D will download most apps in a matter of seconds. With contacts that will link to Facebook and Twitter, this phone has everything you need in one place, much like all HTC's.

I would recommend this phone to anyone, and with a £300 price tag it is the cheapest I have seen it for. £300 well spent. Simply Awesome Phone.
